The Blue Foundation for a Healthy Florida Elects New Board Members

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Feb. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- The Blue Foundation for a Healthy Florida, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida's (BCBSF) philanthropic affiliate, recently elected four new members and re-elected two members to its 11-member board of directors.

New board members are: Tony Benevento, Becky Gay, Dr. Robert Mirsky, and Mark Swink. Re-elected to the board are Michael Cascone, Jr., and Dr. Melvyn Fletcher.
The Blue Foundation officers are: Randy Kammer, president; Tony Jenkins, vice president; Deanna McDonald, treasurer; Chip Kenyon, secretary and Daniel Beck, assistant secretary.
Through strategic grant making, The Blue Foundation supports programs that increase access to quality health-related services for uninsured and underserved Floridians. Since its inception in 2001, The Blue Foundation has awarded more than 100 grants totaling nearly $5.5 million.
