EAGAN, Minn., Feb. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota announced today that it hired Patsy Riley, M.A., as senior vice president of government programs. Riley comes to Blue Cross after spending six years at president and chief executive officer at Stratis Health in Bloomington.

Riley's experience in government programs is long and distinguished. She has served as president and CEO of Stratis Health, Minnesota's Medicare Quality Improvement Organization (QIO), since 1999.
