SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Blue Shield of California announced the promotion of Debby Naegle, RPh., to vice president of medical operations in the Health Care Services Department.
In her new role, Naegle will oversee Blue Shield's health care resource management programs, including post-service medical reviews, facility reviews and programs designed to curtail fraud and abuse. She also will be responsible for Blue Shield's Center for Health Improvement which oversees case management and disease management programs for members with certain acute or chronic diseases.
