Police Arrest Three on Drug Charges

Feb. 24–Police arrested three men on drug charges Thursday. A statement from the Burlington Police Department said the charges were a culmination of a month long investigation, a traffic stop, and a search in Azalea Mobile Home Park.
Manuel Magallanes Medina, 28, of Huntington Road, Burlington, and Arturo Roberto Garcia, 28, of South Mebane Street, Burlington, were charged with cocaine possession and trafficking cocaine. Their bonds were set at $50,000.
Fabian Ortega Mendoza, 28, of Azalea Mobile Home Park, Lot 120, was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, maintaining a dwelling for drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia (scales and baggies), and two counts of trafficking cocaine. His bond was set at $200,000.
Officers seized 3.9 ounces of cocaine.
All three men were placed in the Alamance County jail.
