Nanobac Life Sciences, Inc. Announces Cleveland Clinic Nanobacteria Publication

Posted on: Tuesday, 28 February 2006, 15:00 CST

Nanobac Life Sciences, Inc. (OTCBB:NNBP) ("Nanobac" or "the Company") announced the publication of "The role of nanobacteria in urologic disease." Drs. Wood and Shoskes, of The Cleveland Clinic, summarize in World Journal of Urology (Volume 24, Number 11, Pages 51-54, 2006), the history of nanobacteria's association in many urologic diseases. Nanobacteria have been implicated in the development of polycystic kidney disease, renal calculi (kidney stones), and chronic prostatitis. This review article investigates the current state of nanobacteria research and explores their impact in urologic diseases.

"The incidence of prostatitis and kidney stones in the lifetime of a male is 50% and 10%, respectively. This peer reviewed article has great value in educating the scientific community about the nanobacterial link to these very common diseases," said John Stanton, Nanobac's Chairman and CEO. "Nanobacteria, also known as Calcifying Nano-Particles (CNP), research can open the door to new treatments for these debilitating diseases."
