Community Health Systems to Participate in SG Cowen 26th Annual Health Care Conference

Community Health Systems, Inc. (NYSE:CYH) announced today that management will participate in the 26th Annual Health Care Conference to be held March 6 - 9, 2006, in Boston.
The investor presentation by W. Larry Cash, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will begin at 11:20 Eastern time on Tuesday, March 7, 2006, and will be available to investors via a live audio webcast.
