Sports Palace at 1 Penn Square TO THE EDITOR:

I think the Watt & Shand building would be a good sports center. For instance, it could house a swimming pool, miniature golf course, bowling alley, ice skating rink, roller skating rink, tennis court, table tennis court, gymnastics area, ballroom dance floor, shuffleboard court or even a surf boarding room for kids. It would get them off the street. There could be special spaces for spectators and even a few rooms (hotel rooms) in case an out-of- town team would challenge any of the local players.
