Merck to Hold First-Quarter 2006 Sales and Earnings Conference Call and Web Cast on April 20

Merck & Co., Inc. will hold a first-quarter 2006 sales and earnings conference call with institutional investors and analysts beginning at 9 a.m. ET on Thursday, April 20. During this call, Graeme Bell, senior director, Investor Relations, joined by Richard T. Clark, chief executive officer and president, and Judy C. Lewent, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will provide an overview of Merck's financial performance for the quarter.
