Letter: YourSay - Park and Ride is the Solution

RE: Parking problems at Walsgrave Hospital.
I live on the main road leading to the Showcase Cinema where hospital staff have a park-and ride facility throughout the day and evening.
These double deckers pass my house in both directions every few minutes. Staff use them to travel to the hospital in the morning and again returning from work in the afternoon. The rest of the time the buses go past empty.
What a waste this is. Why could the public not also use these buses? I expect the hospital authorities would be too concerned at the drop in their car parking revenue to consider such a scheme.
