Blue Cross of California and Centinela Freeman HealthSystem Reach Multi-Year Agreement

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif., and INGLEWOOD, Calif., March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Blue Cross of California (Blue Cross) and Centinela Freeman HealthSystem (CFHS) announced they have reached a multi-year agreement for hospital services. The new 3-year commercial agreement is effective immediately and extended through 2008; the new Medi-Cal agreement is extended through 2007. The agreement is inclusive of the three hospital campuses operated by CFHS: Centinela, Memorial and Marina.

"Our goal was always to reach a positive outcome so that our members may continue to access and utilize the services of the Centinela Freeman HealthSystem hospitals as participating Blue Cross providers."

No action is required by Blue Cross members to continue services at any Centinela Freeman HealthSystem; Blue Cross patients who have additional questions should contact their Blue Cross member service representative at the number on their ID card.
