Adventist Healthcare Hospitals Contract With Best Upon Request for Concierge Services

Employees at Shady Grove Hospital and Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital of Maryland now have access to an on-site concierge service provided by Cincinnati-based Best Upon Request. Adventist Healthcare considers maintaining a high level of employee and patient-satisfaction, as well as enriching a person's quality of life, a critical component to being employer of choice and a leader in patient-focused care.
"Shady Grove Adventist Hospital has received the Workplace Excellence Seal of Approval from the National Work Life Alliance for the last four years. We are introducing the Best Upon Request concierge service as part of our continued commitment to helping our employees make their lives less complicated, their days more manageable and their free time more enjoyable," notes Shady Grove President, Debi Yancer.

Employees can contact the concierge for such things as home based help, dry-cleaning, car services, film developing, gift buying, grocery shopping, or running to the post office to name a few. Concierges are staffed on-site at Shady Grove Hospital, situated off the main lobby.
