Icagen to Webcast Upcoming Sickle Cell Disease Day Investor and Analyst Meeting

Icagen, Inc. (NASDAQ: ICGN) today announced plans to webcast its Sickle Cell Disease Day Investor and Analyst Meeting scheduled for Friday, March 31, 2006 in New York City.
During this meeting, Icagen will provide a review of the clinical and therapeutic aspects of sickle cell disease. The meeting will include presentations by two leading sickle cell disease physicians and by Icagen senior executives.
The presentation webcast and accompanying slides will be available on Icagen's website at www.icagen.com. The live webcast will begin at 8:30 a.m. ET and will conclude at 1:00 p.m. An archived version of the webcast presentation will also be available on Icagen's website for at least two weeks following the meeting.
