ATLANTA, April 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Blue Cross Blue Shield Healthcare Plan of Georgia (BCBSHP) announced today its new and improved open access plans -- Blue Open Access HMO and Blue Open Access POS.
Through Blue Open Access, members are not required to select a primary care physician (PCP) at enrollment. As with our current open access plans, Blue Open Access members will benefit from: direct access to specialty care with no referrals required, plan designs that include competitive and comprehensive coverage, unlimited lifetime benefits for covered in-network services and a vast local and national network when they need it most.
In addition, Blue Open Access provides easy and open access to health care, affordability -- simply co-pays for most services and prescription drug coverage with the convenience of a large pharmacy network and real-time online claim adjudication.
