April 5, 2006

Regency Hospital Company announced today the appointment of Kathleen Cahill as its new Chief Executive Officer for Regency Hospital of Cincinnati. Regency is a specialty hospital that serves the needs of acutely ill, medically complex patients who require an intensive care environment for a longer period of time than is standard for the typical short term acute hospital.

“We are very fortunate to have Mrs. Cahill leading this team in Cincinnati. Mrs. Cahill’s previous strong experience in LTAC (Long Term Acute Care) hospital operations and her ability in developing and shaping a strong medical staff will prove invaluable to this hospital,” stated Rod Laughlin, President and CEO.

Mrs. Cahill joins Regency after serving as Chief Executive Officer of Kindred Hospital in Oklahoma City. Prior to her tenure in Oklahoma, she was Chief Executive Officer for Select Specialty Hospitals in Biloxi and Gulfport, Mississippi.

Kathleen Cahill received her Bachelors of Arts in Business and Marketing from New Mexico State University and her Masters in Business Administration from the University of New Mexico.
