DrugMax’s Familymeds.Com Partners With HealthAllies, Inc.

FARMINGTON, Conn., April 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — DrugMax, Inc. today announced that Familymeds.com, an online and mail-order drugstore of the Familymeds Pharmacy brand names and a subsidiary of DrugMax, has joined the HealthAllies discount program network. HealthAllies is part of the UnitedHealth Group family of companies and helps consumers reduce their out-of-pocket health care expenses by negotiating discounted rates on a variety of health-related services not traditionally covered by insurance.

Through Familymeds.com, HealthAllies members now have access to discounts of 10 percent to 15 percent on a wide array of products essential to healthy everyday living, such as vitamins, nutritional supplements, home medical supplies and health and beauty products. Familymeds.com also specializes in health care supplies used for the treatment of chronic conditions such as diabetes, oncology and pain management. In all, more than 15,000 products can be ordered online or by telephone for home delivery.
