Mark Korth Named CEO of Lakewood Regional Medical Center

Tenet California announced today that Mark Korth, 37, has been named Chief Executive Officer at Lakewood Regional Medical Center.
An accomplished hospital operator with more than 10 years of health care management experience, Korth will be responsible for all strategic, operational, and clinical activities at LRMC, effective April 24.

A graduate of Tenet's leadership training program, Korth has served as the chief operating officer at Los Alamitos Medical Center for the past four years. Prior to joining Tenet, he spent five years as an executive at Sutter Health System, including three years as the chief operating officer of Sutter Independent Physicians, a 500-physician member independent physician association. Korth earned a bachelor of science degree from Brigham Young University in Utah, and two master's degrees, in Business Administration and in Healthcare Administration, from the University of Minnesota.
Los Alamitos Medical Center will conduct a search to fill the chief operating officer role vacated by this appointment.
