Students Place in Science Fair

Whatcom Day Academy students placed in the Washington State Science and Engineering Fair in Bremerton.

Santi Brown, Nate Cancilla, Brooks Kochman, Kara Merfeld and Johnathen Trujillo all received first place in their grade categories.

Second-place winners were Marie Kochman, Nadia Waggoner, Olivia Noell and Angus Brown. Mahina Kaholokula, Alexander Kochman, Nick Veljkov, Kaimi Kaholokula, Ian Carroll and Libby Hotson received third-place honors.

The fair is open to all state students in first through 12th grade.
