Hemispherx Biopharma to Host Conference Call to Review Company's Accomplishments, Update on Influenza Related Studies and Outline Future Goals

Hemispherx Biopharma, Inc. ("Hemispherx" or the "Company") (AMEX: HEB) will hold a telephone conference call at 10:00 a.m. ET on Thursday, April 13, 2006 to review the Company's accomplishments, update on influenza related studies and outline future goals.

Dr. William A. Carter, Chairman & CEO, will host the call, which will include a management discussion followed by questions and answers. Robert Peterson, Chief Financial Officer, Doug Hulse, President and COO, and Dr. David Strayer, Medical Director, will also participate in the call.
