The Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing has awarded Maximus Inc. a contract that may be worth as much as $6 million to conduct outreach and education for child care within the state. The six-month contract has four one-year options.

Under the contract, Maximus of Reston, Va., will handle marketing and outreach for the Child Health Plan Plus program. The project aims to increase enrollment and educate families about the child health care options available to them.

Through the project, Maximus will furnish marketing and outreach services to about 93,000 eligible children throughout the state.
