Quick Quality Care Opens Newest Location Inside Cape Coral Wal-Mart; Non-Emergency Walk-In Clinic Unveils Paperless Medical Office; Company is Exclusive Provider of Needle-Free Delivery Systems in Retail Medical Clinics

Quick Quality Care, a non-emergency walk-in medical facility, announced today the opening of its third clinic, located inside the Wal-Mart Supercenter at 1619 Del Prado Blvd. in Cape Coral, FL.
Quick Quality Care offers patients fast and affordable premium health care without the wait typically associated with a physician's office, traditional walk-in clinic or emergency room. It features state-of-the-art technology, exam rooms and diagnostic equipment staffed by certified nurse practitioners that work collaboratively with local physicians to address medical conditions from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Unlike other retail walk-in clinics, Quick Quality Care has created a paperless and HIPPA-compliant medical facility featuring a proprietary computer system that combines a patient's medical history with a unique diagnostic tool.
"Quick Quality Care offers consumers a new option for non-emergency health care," said Jack Tawil, chairman and chief executive officer, QQC of America, LLC. "Our focus on new technology allows us to automate many of the routine paper tasks and distribute the work load throughout the clinic. We are able to see more patients per day and use technology to improve the quality of care."
When entering the clinic, patients use the Check-In computer kiosk in the waiting area, where they can swipe their driver's license to download personal information into the system. In addition, the Check-In kiosk has a fingerprint scanner which, when activated, will assist patients when using the Medical History kiosk on future visits. Patients will also be asked other questions about their health to complete their confidential patient record.
All of this information is then transferred electronically to Quick Quality Care's medical record software, enabling its nurse practitioners to instantly view patient history in preparation for an examination. After the exam, nurse practitioners can enter notes, view information assisting with diagnoses as needed, and electronically order prescription drugs, lab tests and radiology through their Motion(TM) Tablet PC. Each Motion(TM) Tablet PC is equipped with a fingerprint scanner to further protect patient privacy.
Quick Quality Care is monitored by local physicians to ensure best-in-class care to all patients visiting the clinic. These physicians are also on-call 24 hours-a-day to the nurse practitioners, and receive referrals from Quick Quality Care for patients needing care beyond services the clinic offers, such as hypertension or diabetes.
Furthering its commitment to offering patients innovative medical care, Quick Quality Care has entered into an exclusive relationship with Bioject(TM) Medical Technologies to be the only retail-based walk-in medical clinic that uses Bioject(TM)'s needle free drug delivery system. As the only FDA-approved needle-free inoculator currently available in the United States, Bioject(TM) systems are designed to deliver injected medications comfortably, accurately, and quickly - without the use of a needle.
Quick Quality Care is specifically designed to treat common ailments like strep throat, ear and sinus infections, routine pediatric care and blood screenings and immunizations, among other services. Since visits typically take under 15 minutes and no appointments are necessary, Quick Quality Care provides medical care for patients looking to take control of their health care in the most affordable and efficient manner.
"Part of our mission statement is to provide patients with greater availability to health care at a more affordable price," said Dr. Neal Krouse, president and founder, QQC of America, LLC. "Our unique relationship with local physicians allows our nurses to have a doctor on-call as needed, and the doctors benefit from our referrals that drive new patients to their practices."
Patients can also shop in Wal-Mart while they wait, and will be notified by pager or be called on their cell phone when their exam is ready to begin. If a prescription is necessary, Quick Quality Care's Nurse Practitioners can write the prescription and electronically email it to the patients' preferred pharmacy.
Examinations cost $50 with other services at an additional cost. Please visit http://www.quickqualitycare.com for a complete list of services. Quick Quality Care accepts cash, check or credit card payments and participates with most major insurance carriers including Medicare.
Quick Quality Care's business hours typically are from 9AM - 9PM, Monday through Friday, Saturday 9 AM - 6 PM, and Sunday 11 AM - 5 PM.
