WARREN, Mich., May 15 /PRNewswire/ -- By demonstrating compliance with the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations' national standards for health care quality and safety, the Behavioral Center of Michigan has earned the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval(TM).

"Behavioral health accreditation by the Joint Commission requires organization-wide dedication to providing safe, client-focused care, treatment and services."

The award of accreditation is for a three-year period ending in 2008.
