Thin-Link(TM) and HealthPartners Collaborate on Weight Management Program for HealthPartners Employees

MINNEAPOLIS, May 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Thin-Link(TM), a division of Cardiocom, HealthPartners Research Foundation and HealthPartners Health Behavior Group are collaborating to offer a unique customized weight management solution to HealthPartners employees. The Thin-Link telehealth technology provides interactive remote daily home monitoring of individuals to support and guide them through a weight loss and maintenance program using daily accountability, feedback and encouragement. HealthPartners Health Behavior Group provides weight management counseling support and guidance for participants, and the HealthPartners Research foundation supports the project by facilitating the research components and data analyses.

HealthPartners is providing registered dieticians and exercise specialists to interact with program participants who use the technology via the convenience of their homes.
