Martin Nutraceuticals Cites Articles Blasting the Use of Pharmaceutical Drugs for Arthritis

(PINKSHEETS: MNCL) cites a recent edition of Jurist - Legal News and Research in which a jury awarded $9 million in punitive damages recently to a man who blamed VIOXX, finding that manufacturer MERCK & Co. failed to warn about the dangers of its arthritis drug and that prolonged use of the drug was associated with an increased risk of heart attack and stroke and misrepresented those risks. In an unrelated case, Reuters reported that on April 22, a 71-year old man was a victim to VIOXX and awarded $32 million to his family.
