FFF Enterprises Awarded State of California Flu Vaccine Contract for 2006-2007 Flu Season

FFF Enterprises Inc., a multidimensional healthcare corporation based in Temecula, today announced the company has been awarded a contract by the California Department of Health Services for the distribution of flu vaccine for the 2006-2007 influenza season.
"We are honored to have the opportunity to serve our home state's Department of Health Services," said Patrick M. Schmidt, president and CEO of FFF Enterprises. "This award is one of the largest we have received from a state agency, and it will allow us to continue working toward providing vaccinations to as much of the state's high-risk population as possible."
According to the CDC, every year in the United States, on average, 200,000 people are hospitalized from flu complications and about 36,000 people die from flu. The CDC recommends vaccination as the best prevention against the flu and its serious complications.
FFF's newest flu innovation is MyFluVaccine.com, a revolutionary system that brings certainty to the traditionally chaotic flu season by allowing vaccine providers to confirm their orders and delivery dates in advance -- a first in the nation.
FFF Enterprises' unique flu vaccine distribution model entails purchasing vaccine -- and all the biopharmaceutical products FFF distributes -- from manufacturers only and shipping only to healthcare providers. This protects the vaccine and the patients who receive it from the risks of counterfeiting, tampering, mishandling and irresponsible pricing inherent in secondary and gray pharmaceutical supply channels.
