Zix Corporation Email Encryption Selected By Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative; Network Signs Three-Year Contract for Email Encryption Service

Zix Corporation (ZixCorp(R)), (Nasdaq:ZIXI), the leader in hosted services for email encryption and e-prescribing, today announced that Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative (RWHC) has signed a three-year contract for ZixCorp's award-winning email encryption service.

ZixCorp's encryption service will enforce RWHC member hospitals' email policies to ensure secure handling of sensitive data for up to 650 users. The service includes a pre-configured lexicon that automatically detects and encrypts emails that contain protected health information (PHI) to help meet the email security mandates of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
