Alexian Brothers Hospital Network Ranked 'Among the Best in the Nation' for Third Consecutive Year

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill., July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- For the third consecutive year Alexian Brothers Hospital Network (ABHN) has joined the prestigious ranks of America's top medical institutions in the annual "America's Best Hospitals" list published by U.S. News and World Report. The 2006 guide (on newsstands July 10) ranks the top 50 hospitals in 17 specialties nationwide.

This year Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, and St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, were each individually recognized for excellence in the specialty of respiratory disorders. Alexian Brothers Medical Center was also ranked among the nation's best in the area of orthopedics.
