Healthcare Management Systems Announces Fast Growth in First Half of 2006

Healthcare Management Systems, Inc.(R) (HMS) announced that in the first six months of 2006, the company has already outpaced the growth and momentum of the previous year by signing business contracts with 35 new facilities and three new corporate customers. This fast growth can be attributed to the investments the company has made in their integrated financial and clinical application programs for rural and community hospitals. HMS has also been successful in targeting their clinical information system toward behavioral health facilities and expanding their product into the Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) marketplace.
