National Health Partners Announces Commitment By Trident Marketing to Generate 5,000 New Members Per Month; Company Sees 40% Monthly Membership Growth for Second Half of 2006
Posted on: Monday, 7 August 2006, 03:00 CDT
National Health Partners, Inc. (OTCBB: NHPR - News), a leading provider of unique discount healthcare membership programs, announced today that it expects to generate up to 5,000 new members per month for its flagship CARExpress(tm) discount healthcare membership program through its affiliation with Trident Marketing International. Additionally, National Health Partners, www.nationalhealthpartners.com, is now forecasting monthly membership growth increasing to 10,000 by year-end and the Company expects to begin generating positive cash flow during the 4th quarter of 2006.
David M. Daniels, President and Chief Executive Officer of National Health Partners, "We are very excited to see the growth of our business gaining traction. With this new commitment from Trident, as well as other opportunities that we are in the final stages of closing that will be forthcoming, we are poised to increase the growth rate of our membership base by 40% month over month for the remainder of 2006. We also expect to continue to build on our monthly sales and reach a level of 10,000 by year-end. Furthermore, we expect to begin generating positive cash flow in the 4th quarter."
Mr. Daniels goes on to say, "We engaged Trident Marketing International with the belief that they have the ability to reach our market successfully. Trident recently implemented a new CARExpress marketing campaign through which it is investing a significant amount of additional resources and manpower to CARExpress. The initial stage of this campaign is already resulting in substantially increased sales of CARExpress. At this time last year, we had a total of only 400 members from all of our business partners. Over the past two months, sales by Trident alone have increased from 600 in May to over 1600 in July, an increase of almost 170%, and their member retention rates continue to improve."
"From the beginning, we recognized the incredible opportunity of working with National Health Partners," stated David Reilly, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Trident Marketing International. "As a result of the overwhelming positive feedback that we have received from our customers, we recently began devoting a significant amount of additional resources and sales personnel towards our CARExpress marketing campaign. Based upon the results that we are currently generating for CARExpress and our internal member projections for the rest of 2006, I believe that we will soon be generating 5,000 new CARExpress members per month and that we will generate a total of 25,000 new CARExpress members during the second half of 2006."
Alex Soufflas, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of National Health Partners, added, "As impressed as we are with the number of new CARExpress members Trident is generating, we are equally impressed with the higher member retention rates that we are experiencing from Trident sales. Each new member represents a recurring monthly revenue stream for the Company. Higher retention rates mean higher continuous monthly revenues. Our revenues will continue to grow exponentially as we add new members each month and retain current members."
Mr. Reilly concluded, "We look forward to continuing to expand our relationship with CARExpress in the future so as to take advantage of the enormous market opportunity that exists for discounted healthcare. CARExpress is one of the largest and most prestigious national healthcare savings networks in the country. We are committed to supporting CARExpress as it works towards assisting all of the nation's uninsured and underinsured people in obtaining the healthcare they need."
