Assisted Living Organization Places Order for the "Electronic Nurse," ALR Technology's Health Management Reminder and Monitoring System

ALR Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: ALRT) announced today that Apple Patch, an Assisted Living Organization based in Crestwood KY, has placed an order for the ALRT500 Home Health Management System.

Order shipped provides service to assisted living organizations. According to Chris Stevenson, the executive director of Apple Patch, the ALRT system will provide reminders to caregivers and allow for compliance documentation. "The ALRT system will help companies such as ours meet the important compliance requirements from state Medicaid programs as well as result in better overall care for our community. We conducted a pilot project and the benefits to our organization and the individuals we serve became clear within a few weeks. The reminder product serves as added assurance that our assistants are taking the necessary actions at the appropriate times of day, as well as tracking critical compliance data that has proven to be an important management tool."

Mr. Stevenson reports that many state Medicaid programs levy recoupment fines for lapses in compliance with medications or with the tracking of daily activities scheduled for meeting individuals' goals. "These fines can range from hundreds to thousands of dollars per month per household...and the ALRT system will certainly help us avoid these costly mistakes," adds Mr. Stevenson. "Well trained professionals are human and mistakes happen, but with this ALRT system our mistakes are nearly nonexistent."
