The audience will be comprised of hundreds of senior-level decision-makers from most of the major medtech companies and healthcare investment firms worldwide, representing most of the major dealmakers in the medical technology industry.
Dynamic agenda planned for conference
In addition to its premier opportunities for networking and partnering throughout the event, In3 Europe will feature a number of eminent healthcare executives as speakers and an in-depth industry panel discussion. The agenda includes:
-- "Best Practices for Venture Investing in Europe" with Michel Lussier, CEO of MedPole, Chairman of Cardio3 and VP & General Manager of European Operations for Volcano
-- "Medtech Investing in Europe: the 3i Perspective" with Andrew Fraser, Partner, 3i

-- "What Makes Israel Such a Dynamic Device Company Developer?" with Zev Zehavi, Johnson & Johnson Development Corporation, and David Cassak, Managing Partner, Windhover Information, as moderator
Lussier founded MedPole SA/NV in March 2002, a European incubator for medical device start-up companies. During its first years of operation, MedPole has enabled the early European development of a number of US, Israeli, and European high-technology medical device companies, including Cardio3 SA, a start-up cell therapy company dedicated to cell transplant solutions for cardiovascular applications.
Fraser has 12 years of experience in venture capital in life sciences, and specializes in investing in medical devices and pharmaceuticals companies. Notable recent investments include Endosense, Novexel and Carmel Pharma.
Dr. Meijer has more than 15 years of experience in the design of clinical trials and analysis of European regulatory affairs for medical devices, and has published numerous articles in medical journals and has given many presentations to professional societies.
