BidShift Appoints New Executive to Lead Western Region Sales and National Accounts

San Diego-based BidShift, the leading provider of web-based flexible workforce management technology for healthcare providers, has named Steven J. Bartell as its new western regional Vice President of Sales and National Accounts. In this role, Bartell is responsible for managing all aspects of BidShift's direct sales initiatives in the hospital and health systems provider markets for the western region, and driving the company's national accounts program.

Bartell comes to BidShift with over twenty years of healthcare technology sales, marketing and management expertise. Prior to joining BidShift, he was responsible for new business development and national accounts at Lawson Software's Healthcare Division. He previously served as Director of Provider Sales for Neoforma's Technology Solutions Division, Executive Manager of Enterprise Sales and Market Development for CenterBeam, an IT outsourcing company, and Director of Market Management and National Accounts for QuadraMed, a healthcare information systems company.
Bartell is an ASCP certified medical technologist and PMI certified project manager, and has established an excellent track record of building and transforming healthcare and technology teams into market-driven leaders.
