TeleTracking Technologies has signed a contract with healthcare provider Scripps Health to supply automated patient flow services at its La Jolla and Chula Vista, CA campuses.
Scripps Health has chosen TeleTracking's suite of capacity management services to help address mission-critical patient care issues such as relieving emergency room overcrowding, reducing OR hold and improving patient throughput.
Telecracking says that by maximizing the use of existing in-patient bed capacity, the system helps improve patient flow resulting in a decrease in emergency room overcrowding or diversions to other hospitals, shorter wait times for patients and improved attention to patient care.
Scripps, which manages over 1.5 million patient visits each year through its five campuses in and around San Diego, joins TeleTracking's client portfolio of more than 650 hospitals in the US and Canada with over 1,200 system installations.
