Tri-C's Western Campus To Hold Groundbreaking for New Health Technologies Center

PARMA, Ohio, Aug. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Cuyahoga Community College's Western Campus will host the groundbreaking for a new Health Technologies Center (HTC) at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2006.

The Western Campus is located at 11000 Pleasant Valley Road, and the groundbreaking will take place at the construction site of the new addition, adjacent to the Health Careers and Science Building near the A Parking Lot.

The new 28,000-square-foot addition will house five Health Career Programs, a Human Patient Simulator Laboratory, and four additional classroom spaces.

Programs housed at the new Health Technology Center will include education and training in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Electroneurodiagnostics, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Physician Assistant, Polysomnography, Radiography, Respiratory Care and Nursing.

The new facility will allow Cuyahoga Community College and the Western Campus to continue to provide the necessary state-of-the-art training to meet the demands and ever-changing needs of the health care industry.
