According to the Health Minister, a new medical breakthrough by Iran will astonish the world soon. On the basis of a report by a news website close to the government, the third major good news of the ninth government, which concerns a major breakthrough by our country in the field of medical sciences, will be announced to the public by President Ahmadinezhad on the eve of 15th Sha'ban [birth anniversary of the 12th Shi'i Imam Mahdi on 9 September].

According to a report by "Nowsazi", which quoted sources close to the Ministry of Health, Hygiene and Medical Treatment, the Iranian physicians have discovered a drug which cures AIDS.

It should be noted that for over 20 years, the world's scientists have been working hard to find a treatment for or way of preventing AIDS, and salvation from that disease has now become an almost unattainable dream and aspiration for mankind.

The report by "Nowsazi" states that for about two years, Iranian doctors have been working on a research project, and at the present, they have developed a vaccine and treatment for AIDS. Currently, more than 40 million people across the world are suffering from the deadly disease of AIDS.
