Music With a Message: HealthRock(TM) Interactive Website Educates Kids Through Song

BOSTON, Sept. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- A new educational health website geared for kids called HealthRock(TM) was launched this week to coincide with the start of the new school year. The interactive, upbeat website was conceived to help parents and children learn about health issues in a fun, educational way that leads to positive behavior change.
HealthRock.com is the "baby" of Dr. Machelle M. Seibel -- a leading expert in women's health, a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Massachusetts, and Editor in Chief of Sexuality, Reproduction and Menopause, a journal of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. Combining his expertise with his passion for writing and recording music, he created the HealthRock(TM) CD series combining fun music with public health/wellness messages. The new interactive website expands the concept with music downloads, animation, games and other features:
