Tomorrow SEIU UHW Caregivers to Hold Vigil to Save Doctors Medical Center in San Pablo

SAN PABLO, Calif., Sept. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Tomorrow, healthcare workers will hold a candlelight vigil in front of Doctors Medical Center, less than a week after the hospital board voted to declare bankruptcy and close the emergency room and other essential services. Nearly 300 healthcare workers, including Certified Nursing Assistant, Obstetric Aides, Dietary Aides, Respiratory Care Practitioners, Radiology Technicians, and other hospital classifications, are represented by SEIU United Healthcare Workers-West (UHW) at Doctors Medical Center.
