The Minneapolis Heart Institute Women's Heart Program Presents 'A Heart to Heart Talk' With Minnesota's First Lady

The Minneapolis Heart Institute Women's Heart Health Program and Abbott Northwestern Hospital are sponsoring a free seminar on preventing heart disease in women. The event begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3 at Wooddale Church (6630 Shady Oak Rd., Eden Prairie) and features Minnesota's first lady, Mary Pawlenty.
Pawlenty will discuss her Heart Health Initiative, an awareness campaign for Minnesota women about the dangers of heart disease. In addition to Pawlenty, cardiologists from the Minneapolis Heart Institute Women's Heart Health Program will speak, a registered dietitian from the Minneapolis Heart Institute at Abbott Northwestern Hospital will share ideas for eating healthy and woman will share her personal story about living with heart disease.
