Critical Care, Inc. Acquires Body Mass Solutions, Inc. Obesity Medical Management Company

Posted on: Wednesday, 20 September 2006, 09:00 CDT

Ernest Remo, CEO of Critical Care Inc. (OTCBB:CTCC), announced today that the company has completed the acquisition of Body Mass Solutions, Inc. (BMS), an Obesity Medical Management Company, from HealthCare Medical Technologies, Inc. (HCMTI) in all stock transaction. HCMTI provides healthcare management services to health plans focused on managing high-risk patients in areas of obesity, diabetes, renal failure, heart disease, and high-risk obstetrics. HCMTI, Inc. currently manages health plans for numerous self insured entities throughout the Midwest region of the United States encompassing over 150,000 lives.

"After a comprehensive review of the BMS, Inc. business model, we at Critical Care, Inc. feel that our existing clients will immediately benefit from this approach. Recognizing high-risk patients within a pool of insured and then focusing on providing them health care solutions is the focus of the BMS model. Preventing extensive utilization of healthcare expenditures by this minority segment is a goal shared by the health care plans," commented Ernest Remo, CEO of Critical Care, Inc. "This group of patients, identified in part by body mass calculations, can account for a large portion of health care expenditure that can be substantially reduced utilizing the BMS, Inc. model. It is the vision of BMS to isolate this minority group and proactively identify and provide solutions to this high-risk pool. HCMTI, through its existing staff of physicians, registered nurses and other health care professionals will be on board to provide the expertise to facilitate the incorporation of the BMS model to health plans identified by Critical Care," concluded Mr. Remo.

Dr. Michael C. Rost, MD, a 30-year board certified Anesthesiologist, is the founder and CEO of HCMTI, Inc. and BMS, Inc.

"Critical Care, Inc. has the marketing contacts throughout the US and in foreign markets to massively expand the Body Mass Solution, Inc. concept and excellent results for its clients. Our staff of over 40 health care professionals ranging from MDs specializing in all the major surgical and medical specialties, registered nurses, dieticians, exercise physiologists and physical therapists have been successfully providing population healthcare consulting services to the managed care industry for over a decade. The estimated cost savings to our clients have been in the tens of millions of dollars," commented Dr. Rost.

Critical Care, Inc., through its operation division BMS, Inc., is in negotiations with health care concerns to provide cost saving services and other relation healthcare advisory services.
