Misys Healthcare Systems Appoints Mike Holsinger Director of Communications

Misys Healthcare Systems, a market leader in healthcare IT, today announced the appointment of Mike Holsinger as the company's new director of communications. Holsinger brings to Misys more than 20 years of experience in marketing, advertising and public relations, and will expand communications initiatives as the company continues to build its brand within an evolving and complex industry.

Holsinger joins Misys from John Deere, a leading outdoor power equipment company, where he served as Director of Marketing Services since 2003. At John Deere, he managed advertising and marketing operations on a national and local level, including activities such as brand stewardship, media planning, consumer marketing and public relations. Holsinger's experience also includes five years spent with Euro RSCG Tatham, where he supervised the communications agency's largest and most profitable client while serving as group account director.

Holsinger has also held supervisory positions at communications firms Rhea & Kaiser, DDB Needham and Leo Burnett in Chicago. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
