National City Presents Webcast: Electronic Health Records: What You Must Know Today

CLEVELAND, Oct. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- National City Corporation will hold the first of a two-part webcast series on Thursday, October 12, at 12:00 p.m. ET titled "Electronic Health Records: What You Must Know Today." Part one of the series will feature Dr. Andrew Ury, CEO of Practice Partner and vice chair of the HIMSS Electronic Health Record Vendors Association (EHRVA). Dr. Ury will discuss how what you don't know about Electronic Health Records (EHR) could hurt you and your hospital or medical practice. His topics will include the overall impact on operations and patient care, cost reductions triggered by EHR adoption, case studies and their specific EHR benefits, and vendor engagement in quality measurement.

Part two of the series, "Electronic Health Records: Show Me the Money," will be held on Thursday, November 9, and feature Charlene Underwood, director of Government and Industry Affairs for Siemens Medical Solutions.

Dr. Andrew Ury founded Physician Micro Systems, Inc. (d/b/a Practice Partner) in 1983.
