HealthCare Resolution Services, Inc. (HCRS) Wins $6 Million Contract to Provide Health Care Staffing Services to the U.S. Navy

HealthCare Resolution Services, Inc. (HCRS) (www.hcrs-inc.com) today announced that it has been awarded a $6 million contract by the U.S. Department of the Navy to provide medical staffing services at three naval hospitals in Washington State and Hawaii.
Under the multiple-award task order contract, HCRS will recruit, train and retain a staff of seventy (70) physicians, RNs, medical assistants and other healthcare professionals. The medical professionals will provide services in the areas of family practice, primary care, health promotion, case management and post deployment health reassessment (PDHRA) at naval hospitals in Bremerton and Oak Harbor, WA as well as Pearl Harbor, HI.

A key service provision in the Contract, PDHRA's goal is to provide substantive medical and psychological evaluation and care to returning active military personnel. This primary care, ultimately, encourages the transition of these soldiers back to their previous roles at their respective military treatment facility once the soldier is declared fit for return to duty.
One of only five organizations to receive the contract, HCRS will work in tandem with subcontractor PhyAmerica Government Services, Inc. to provide services to active duty and retired naval personnel and their dependents. The five-year contract began on July 1, 2006 and will continue through 2011.
