Healthcare Alternative Systems, Inc. (HAS) Announces Development Advisory Board of Business and Civic Leaders

CHICAGO, Oct. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Marco Jacome, Chief Executive Officer of Healthcare Alternative Systems, Inc. (HAS), a leading non-profit provider of bilingual behavioral health care services, announced today the establishment of a Development Advisory Board of local business and civic leaders chaired by Jeffrey W. Taylor, Chairman of Cole Taylor Bank. Luisa Echevarria, Community Relations Director of Univision/Telefutura was named co-chairman.
The HAS Board of Directors will look to these advisors for input and leadership in the creation of a private donor funding strategy to support expanding healthcare services. At present, the non-profit HAS relies on government sources for the majority of its funding.
"They are helping us make our plans for the future to happen," said Jacome. "Their commitment and assistance will ensure that the Hispanic and other communities we serve will have greater access to culturally sensitive health care and social services."
A reception to introduce the Development Advisory Board will be held this upcoming Tuesday.
