MONTREAL (CP) - A 16-year-old girl is under arrest two days after her newborn boy's body was found in a wooded area northwest of Montreal.
The girl was arrested after leaving hospital where she had been treated since Sunday.
Quebec provincial police arrested the girl after receiving the results of an autopsy on the boy.
A police spokeswoman said the autopsy suggested the child could have lived even though he was born prematurely.
Police are questioning the girl to determine exactly what happened.
