Cancer Prevention Gaining Focus of Doctors and Researchers; This Week on Your Cancer Today

Posted on: Wednesday, 22 November 2006, 21:01 CST

Your Cancer Today(TM) is a 30 minute television talk show, dedicated to inform and educate viewers from both the institutional and patients' perspectives.

Doctors, scientists and researchers are beginning to agree on one thing when it comes to Cancer.... and that is most cancers are preventable. Lifestyle choices, diet, exercise and other factors have been found to directly affect cancer risk factors. On this week's program, we will learn about a clinic in Seattle devoted exclusively to cancer prevention. We will also speak to a radiologist from Cornell University whose study published in the New England Journal of Medicine suggests that routine CT scans can detect possible breast cancer at very early stages.

Your Cancer Today(TM) Producer Alan Painter is a Director of NanoLife Sciences, Inc., developers of Proton Treatment Centers. "This is a much needed show," Painter says, "and way overdue. Information is the key to fighting cancer and the more we can spread the word, the better it will be for everyone." Donald Baillargeon, executive producer and host of MoneyTV, which has been running since 1996 in 125 million homes globally, is also the host and executive producer of Your Cancer Today(TM). Your Cancer Today(TM) is seen throughout the United States on broadcast, cable and satellite television as well as in Western Europe. A full channel lineup is available at the company web site, http://www.yourcancertoday.com, which allows online viewing of past episodes on demand and is under construction for the provision of further information and investigation of various cancer treatments, alternatives and research being conducted.
