PENSACOLA, Fla., Dec. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- The South Florida Health Information Initiative (SFHII), a Miami, FL-based consortium of healthcare providers, has chosen Pensacola, FL-based Cogon Systems, Inc. to develop and deploy a Health Information Exchange. The Florida Academy of Family Physicians will also be working very closely with Cogon Systems during the project to help define user and system requirements.
The SFHII was created by a grant from the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration.
