Jeffrey McGowen, M.D., Joins Texas Hip and Knee Center in Fort Worth

FORT WORTH, Texas, Dec. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Robert Schmidt, M.D., P.A., Ajai Cadambi, M.D., P.A., Theodore Crofford, M.D., P.A., and Steven Weeden, M.D., P.A., have announced that Jeffrey L. McGowen, M.D., has joined the Texas Hip and Knee Center, L.L.P., a Fort Worth-based practice staffed by fellowship-trained surgeons who specialize in hip and knee joint replacement and reconstructive surgery.
A native of Indiana, Dr. McGowen graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 1999. In 2004, he completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Fort Wayne Medical Education Program. Dr. McGowen fulfilled specialized training in a one-year fellowship at the Texas Hip and Knee Center in adult joint reconstructive surgery.
"Jeffrey demonstrated superb diagnostic skills and professionalism as a surgeon during his fellowship at our clinic," Dr. Schmidt said. "We anticipate that he will provide our patients with high-quality, specialized care."
Dr. McGowen is a member of Alpha Omega Medical Honor Society and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Purdue University.
Dr. McGowen and his wife, Amy, and their two children live in Aledo.
The Texas Hip and Knee Center is an orthopedic practice specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the adult hip and knee. Each of the surgeons has received additional subspecialty fellowship training in joint replacement surgery and reconstructive surgery of the hip and knee.
