VISICU’s eICU(R) Program Coming to Resurrection Health Care
Resurrection Health Care (Chicago, IL) entered into an agreement with VISICU to implement their patented eICU® Program. The eICU Program will be part of Resurrection’s on-going commitment to ensure their patients receive the highest quality care. The eICU Program will provide coverage for 174 ICU beds in eight hospitals.
eICU technology combines early warning software and remote monitoring tools to enable off-site critical care physicians and nurses to support intensive care unit (ICU) staff in delivering proactive patient care. Demonstrated to provide significant reductions in mortality and length of stay, eICU technology in conjunction with the eICU care model enable hospitals to meet stringent patient care safety standards by ensuring all ICU patients receive continuous care from physicians and nurses who specialize in critical care.
“VISICU is proud to partner with Resurrection Health Care in implementing tools that support clinicians in delivering the highest caliber care to the sickest patients,” said Frank T. Sample, VISICU Chairman and CEO.
