digiMedical Solutions, Inc.(TM) Appoints Susanne Myler As Vice President of Pharmacy Chain Operations and Compliancy

Posted on: Wednesday, 20 December 2006, 12:01 CST

digiMedical Solutions, Inc. ™ (OTC Pink Sheets: DGMS), announced today that Susanne Myler has joined the company as Vice President of Chain Operations and Compliancy. This key position is responsible for all digiMedical pharmacy operations and staff. digiMedical currently owns and operates six pharmacies located in Florida and Texas. The company pharmacies are part of the digiRXTM electronic prescription handling services and are electronically linked to doctor offices and medical clinics in the digiRXTM network. This position is also responsible for standardizing and streamlining operations and policies across all company pharmacies.

Ms. Myler has over 18 years experience in the pharmacy industry, including opening and managing the operations of a large number of pharmacies. Ms. Myler was responsible for both the ground up openings and acquisitions of 30 pharmacies and for managing a total of 83 pharmacies for the Brookshire Grocery Company in her role as Third Party Administrator. Prior to her 7 year tenure with Brookshire, Ms. Myler earned experience as a pharmacy technician with the Medicine Shoppe, now owned by Cardinal Health Company (NYSE:CAH) . Ms. Myler's 18 years plus experience in operations of both independent and chain pharmacies, as well her extensive experience opening and acquiring pharmacies, makes her a great asset for the long-term growth of digiMedical Solutions, Inc.

Susanne Myler, Vice President of Chain Operations and Compliancy stated, "Electronic prescribing is quite possibly the hottest trend in the physician and pharmacy merger. Recent legislation has driven healthcare to a level that many did not think possible with the adoption of the HIPAA laws that strive to standardize all patient information to eliminate errors in diagnosis, prescribing, and possible forgery problems while at the same time ensuring that the information contained is kept private. In the current system of handing a difficult to read prescription to a patient to take to a mass-retailer, patient care has been severely neglected. digiMedical Solutions offers not only the ease to the physician to write the prescription legibly and electronically, but also provides the much needed patient care at its pharmacies. I am very excited to be involved with a company that is a leader in the industry, with the ultimate results being better all around care for patients."

David Lee, Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of digiMedical Solutions, Inc. commented, "I have worked with Susanne for over 5 years. She is an expert in her field of pharmacy operation and management and is an extremely valuable addition to our team. She has an unmatched dedication to excellence when it comes to pharmacy management. In her short time with us, she has already made significant progress improving the operations of our recently acquired pharmacies. I look forward to a long working relationship with Susanne and rest in the knowledge that she is a true asset to digiMedical."
