Society of Hospital Medicine Applauds Passage of Legislation Halting 5 Percent Cut in Medicare Payments to Physicians

PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Laurence D. Wellikson, M.D., CEO of the Society of Hospital Medicine, issues the following statement in response to recent Congressional approval of legislation halting a 5 percent cut in Medicare payments to physicians:
