U.S. health retailer CareClinic said Friday it has expanded its operations to include running three existing Affordable Basic Care clinics.
The company said the three sites would be operated through its subsidiary, CareClinic, Inc., in Grand Rapids and Wyoming, Michigan.
The move means CareClinic now operates six retail-based clinics. The company said it anticipates operating a total of 34 clinics by the end of the first calendar quarter of 2007.
The Affordable Basic Care clinics' services include treatment of colds, flu, allergies and ear infections, as well as cholesterol and blood-glucose testing, CareClinic said.
